Liquitex Acrylic Varnish protects completed acrylic works from harsh elements, dirt and other impurities in the environment and shields colors from ultraviolet light. Offered in different finishes, Liquitex varnish can be used to change or unify a painting’s surface sheen. The specially formulated, low odor water-based technology makes this varnish perfect for use with all forms of acrylic paint, whether spray, paint pen, fluid or heavy body. Liquitex Varnish resists discoloring that occurs due to humidity, heat and ultraviolet light. It is hard, durable and water-resistant when dry. Importantly, it dries crystal clear and is archival. This varnish is permanent (not removeable) and helps to ensure an acrylic painting’s long-lasting, untarnished life. Available in Gloss (all 4 sizes), High Gloss (4, 8 and 32 oz), Matte (4, 8, 32 oz) and Satin (8 and 32 oz).
