ENI-CL 99% NICKEL ELECTRODE AWS A5.15 Welding Positions: All, except vertical down AC & DC± (reverse or straight polarity) INTRODUCTION: Basic graphite-coated stick electrode. Used for welding of cast irons to other cast irons as well as for joining cast irons to mild steels and stainless steels. Cold welding of grey and malleable cast iron. Soft, low spatter arc. A preheat and inter-pass temperature of not less than 350°F is required during welding to prevent cracking. Good slag removal characteristics, low spatter tendency. Graphitic separation of the carbon in the weld metal.
